About ASTI

Dr. Mei-Cheng Hu, a distinguished Software Engineering (SE) expert from IBM, founded ASTI in 1990 based on the conviction that use of a good software application development tools could increase the application development productivity without sacrificing quality by adhering to good Software Engineering (SE) principles.

As a Software Services Provider, ASTI is constantly exposed to the challenges businesses face to design, develop, and deploy e-business application systems. The motivation to provide quality software services and to accelerate the customer's time to success prompted Dr. Hu to form a team that would be responsible for designing and developing a set of SE tools that could help ASTI achieve this goal. ASTI's years of experience in software tool development, enables us to design and develop a "custom" tool for the customer's specific needs wherever necessary. Dr. Hu believes that maintaining a focus on the business problem while helping developers develop sophisticated application systems and increase productivity by avoiding tedious coding issues leverages the customer's IT investment.
